A Little Foxy Update
RISK! and Strictly Stalking Podcasts
The Podcaster
One of the strangest things about writing Good Luck Getting Rid of Me is that, for so long, it felt as though I was shouting to myself.
I knew what had happened. I had the evidence, the memories, and the scars. Beyond a handful of close friends, though, almost nobody else did.
That is slowly beginning to change.
On 11 August, my story reaches a much wider audience when my episode of RISK! goes live. It focuses on one of the darkest chapters of my life, my arrest in Italy, the days I spent in jail, and the events surrounding it. More importantly, it’s about the one man who stood beside me throughout the nightmare, despite having every reason in the world to walk away.
Not long after that, I’ll also be appearing on Strictly Stalking. After meeting the team for a pre-recording chat, the synergy was so great that we decided to bring Good Luck Getting Rid of Me to their audience as well. Recorded the interview and, and now we have a date. 8th of September. This is another opportunity to tell the story beyond the pages of the memoir and, hopefully, reach people who may never have discovered it otherwise.
Behind the scenes, work on the streaming adaptation continues.
Fontana LePoint and I have now completed both the pitch deck and the series bible for a seven-part dramatisation. We’ve also spent a great deal of time working with both a director and a production company refining these. It’s one of those industries where nothing happens quickly. There are conversations, revisions, more conversations, more waiting and then, if you’re lucky, another conversation. It’s exciting, but it’s also a lesson in patience.
As for the legal case...
I wish I had a dramatic update.
I don’t.
For something that felt like a never-ending siege, it all feels a little too quiet now.
The last information I received was that Voldemort was arrested on 31 July 2025. I was later told by the lieutenant that he had been released on bond the following day, while his electronic devices remained in the hands of the forensic investigators. Since then, it’s all gone very quiet. It’s now been a year, and I don’t know whether that’s because the forensic examination is still ongoing, because the case is waiting for a court date, or simply because these things take time. Whatever the reason, I can’t breathe until it’s over for good.
Maybe that’s an unpopular opinion, but I don’t believe people who committed the crimes he did should simply be able to walk away and get on with their lives while those they’ve left behind are still living with the consequences.
When I know more, you’ll know more.
In the meantime, thank you for continuing to come along for the ride. Whether you’ve been here since the very first chapter or you’ve only just discovered Good Luck Getting Rid of Me, your messages, comments and support genuinely mean more than you probably realise.
It’s been a long road already.
For a very long time, I felt like I was dealing with all of this alone. Apart from a few close friends, and later my husband, every accusation, every defence and every setback felt like part of a war I was fighting by myself.
Not anymore.
Now I get to share this journey with all of you.
I wanted you to know just how much that means to me. Every person who reads a chapter, listens to an interview, leaves a comment or simply tells someone else about the story makes me feel a little less alone than I did back then.
For the first time in a long time, it feels like we’re walking this road together.
And somehow...
It feels as though the next chapter is only just beginning.
But this time, you’re a part of it.

You know me, Foxy, first in with the comments. This is brilliant news, it's getting your all too terrible story out to the wider audience which can only be a good thing. I'll be one of the first to have a listen to both Risk! And Strictly Stalking once they're both released, as I hope many more do, too. You've had a really tough time, the likes of which the majority of us cannot appreciate and our ongoing support in all your ventures can only help ease that burden of weight on your shoulders just that little bit. Things are thankfully, seeming to take a good turn for you, which is only down to your perseverance and dedicated hard work. As you already know, you can count on me for whatever, whenever. Fucking hell, I'm quoting Shakira now, but you know what I mean. The hips don't lie and neither do I. Keep strong and focused mate! 🥰
